The Eisen Speer Crusade

The Eisen Speer Crusade is a Black Templars Crusade for the futuristic Sci-Fi game Warhammer 40K. The crusade operates in the planetary systems around Cirillo Prime. Lead by Marshal Otto II, the objective of the crusade is to clear the systems of the taint of Chaos and the Xenos that are currently fighting over the system and to return Cirillo Prime to the Emperor's Light. This crusade is especially important as Cirillo Prime is the closest forge world to the Temporary Rift Corridor that crosses the Cicatrix Maledictum and can be used to send reinforcements to the Galactic North of the Imperium. Victory means a connected Imperium, even if only slightly, and a staging area for further crusades and fleets that are preparing for operations in the Galactic North.
